keep going...

with the 15s league around the corner, i can't help but feel a little jittery.
personally, the league is a test of all the training, fitness and gym sessions i've put in.
this is also when i will discover the extent to which i am able to actualise what i have learnt and put it into action on the field.

i suppose it's not so much the opponent i fear, but myself.
as much as many people think i'm a brick wall of sorts, barging at the defence,
there are times when i feel like i'm stagnant, ineffective, or just plain exhausted.

we have all come this far together.
we've been through the sunday trainings under the afternoon sun,
we've been through fitness sessions that i personally never thought i could survive.
so let's all press on, and keep going...

i truely believe the 15s league that lies ahead will be an awesome experience for all of us.
i think it's one (and important) thing to strive to win,
but what i find more important is to conquer ourselves and the fear within.
to be completely honest, i'm still working on that aspect myself.
all i can say is that despite the nerves, i'm looking forward to the league,
the joy and pride of playing with awesome teammates...
till then, i shall constantly remind myself,
'the greater the obstacle, the greater the glory in overcoming it.'

mac

okay, this is probably totally illegal, and i'm doing it anyway (off-field bonding, heh. that reminds me of a joke that i'll tell at the end of this post.) so here's the question: does anyone know how i can get microsoft office: mac for free? ahhaha i'm awful with computer-technology stuff, so, i think i'll need help. thanks!

anyhoo, here's the joke (and it's real-life. but any coincidences to anyone you know is purely coincidental and probably not someone you'll know)
scenario: post-rugby training. rjc rugger addressing his team
rjc rugger in gruff voice:
hey guys, i think we need to do some male bondage.
(rest of team stares at him in absolute horror. in case you didn't get it, he meant to say bonding)
